You may miss the fax capabilities that one tends to expect from a multifunction printer, but fax is not something you would miss if you do not really need it. Print quality on this Kodak printer is decent, although its two-tank printer ink cartridge system puts the accuracy on color printing a bit on the questionable side.
The design on this Kodak printer is simple and straightforward, so this may be appealing to you if you do not like your gadgets cluttered with buttons. One downside to this printer, however, is that it is a little bit noisy when it works.

However, the Kodak ESP 9 still suffers from the same noisiness that its older sibling has. This noise level is something that Kodak needs to work on when it comes up with newer models.
