Everything is so easily accessible and instant. Nothing feels grounded anymore. I used to feel like my town was far away from everything, going shopping in the mall was a big thing for my family. My friends were only those that went to school with me. The only media was tv, radio, and newspaper. There were no google maps or street view. Going new places was very exciting.
I feel like the novely and excitement in things is gone these days.
