How can i get my ipod to stop showing lyrics only every other song?

I have lyrics to all the songs on my ipod. But it’s only showing the lyrics every other song. I have a 4th generation itouch which i recently synced to my mac. Iv’e checked settings and every thing, but i can’t find any option to show all the lyrics to every song.
Help much appreciated!
