To more exact, I basically do not want to be a police officer at all. I don’t want to arest people, or get into that whole enforcement thing. I want to get an education that will lead me into the field of investigation and security based techniques. Basically to get jobs as an information gatherer ether as a Private Investigator, an internal corporate investigator, Insurance claims adjuster, doing private surveillance, employee background checks fraud analysts.
Ultimately end game I would like to work into the path that would lead me to homeland security and potentially cyber security.
I think that explains it well enough to make the point that I don’t want to do actual police work or enforcement of standard laws I want to be an information gather or be into private security and surveillance.
I’ve looked into already a few tech schools that specialize in this kind of stuff. I’m asking this though because as far as regular community colleges go or course work I’m not sure were to start and I would like to consider all options before hand so I can start off on the right foot.
