Gadget that lets you attach multiple rolling suitcases together so you can pull them together?

Long shot, but worth it if it works out :-)

SO basically I am looking for a little gadget that lets you string two or more wheeled suitcases together (the upright, more modern kind, not the horizontal kind), in such a way that you can then use the extended handle on the first one to pull the whole lot behind you. The idea is you arrange them with the biggest one closest to you, then in decreasing order of sizes behind that, with the back of each new suitcase touching the front of the previous one; each bag rolls on its own wheels, the extra bags don’t use the wheels of the first. The general effect when the Whole Thing is on the move is rather like a mother duck being followed by its ducklings.

They are sold for people going on a trip that is too long for one suitcase, even if it is big, because obviously it would be a huge hassle or even impossible to tug two roller cases at the same time – let alone any more than that.

I saw this little gadget in a luggage catalog a few years ago, but at the time I didn’t anticipate ever needing it so stupidly enough I didn’t think to clip out the entry so I’d have at least the name for the thing :P Except now I am planning a long trip, and am thinking I will probably end up needing two cases *d’oh!* I tried all the search term combinations I could think of, but I’m not getting anywhere so I thought I’d try here – especially since even though I’ve tried a lot I still have the feeling I’m missing one good keyword for these, but now my mind is stuck :-(
thanks willeke – believe me I know all about packing light! as a family we always travelled lots so I got trained in it early on :P, and now anytime I leave for less than a month, it’s carry-on only. But in this case I’ll be gone for several months, and unlike the couple in your link it will be more of a temporary move than the sort of nomadic, multiple-locations tour deal that they did. That means I will need to take along more stuff, because I won’t be a tourist; I will be living there for a few months, so I will also need stuff like more formal items for parties or professional stuff (no wearing the same shoes for 63 days straight for me!), not to mention books and camera gear. I can probably still get by with one, huge, case to check in, for my clothes and books, but I will have to have a wheeled carry-on for valuable things I daren’t check in – cameras, computer, etc. So, two wheeled bags is kind of inescapable, hence the need for this gadget. Thanks anyway!
