What are some high fantasy novels that have technology?
I am looking for some high fantasy novels (as in not earth), that involve technology. I do not however, want a scifi novel. It must be a true fantasy novel, magic must be prominent, but with some technology, examples being electricity, airships, guns (swords should still be in use as well) etc.
Even better if it involves some sort of guild, mercenary group, or academy.

What is some good capture and wireless software?
I am looking for some good software that will capture what I am doing on my computer.
I am also looking for some wireless software that does a better job connecting than the default XP software.
I could spend money but would prefer free if at all possible.
What technology was invented in the 21st century?
I need to know the name of the inventor and the invention and the date/year that it was created. It has to be technology.
