GPS Vehicle Tracking Utility

GPS technology has gained so much of popularity with which the different techniques have been invented to trace vehicles, person and much more. GPS Vehicle Tracking is useful in determining the daily activities of their mobile vehicles and to protect the business against the time sheet fraud and unauthorized use of company vehicles. This tracking facility is available at affordable price as no monthly fees has proved to be the perfect solution for companies on a budget.

It is useful to keep a better track of your vehicles, most importantly with the price and with the budget. This becomes answer to the mounting cost of the company. It is not necessary that it can only be used by the fleets and businesses, anyone can use it. Some GPS vehicle tracking can determine the destination of the employee, the number of stops as well as the length of time it stops on a particular place. This combines with the comprehensive tracking software, that delivers the details fleet tracking and reporting data with the automatic wireless downloads monitors the speed and reduce the gas mileage.

GPS Vehicle Tracking is not about spying on the employees, as all the work vehicles are valuable and often contain expensive equipment that makes them the prime targets of thieves. So, to ensure the safety of those expensive vehicles, they are equipped with the unshakable watchdog. If they are protected by GPS then, probably they won’t get stolen in the first place. It will reduce the policy cost because it is one of the deterrent against theft. .

The Data that has been logged by a GPS Vehicle Tracking system allows fleet owners to construct an accurate picture of driver’s overall behaviour. All this will restructure the company working process which in net will lead to saving over the course for the next few years. Before this technology it wasn’t possible to track, but now fleet owners across the UK can tap into everyday life of their vehicles and saving money as well.

Sporicidal Disinfectant Receives EPA Approval to Kill Anthrax

As germs like MRSA, C. diff. and anthrax become increasingly life-threatening, the war on superbugs continues as biotechnology companies from around the world race to produce products that kill germs effectively, without harming people or the environment. And while consumers become ever more aware of product safety, harsh chemical disinfectants are out; safe and effective products are definitely in.

Today we have a revolutionary new Sterilant/Sporicide, which has recently received Federal EPA Registration. A paradigm shift in infection control that sets new standards, killing spores in a tiny fraction of the time of competing products. Independent GLP certified laboratories have verified that it destroys the most virulent pathogens including C. sporogenes and B. subtilis spores 10 to 32 times faster than other sterilant brands. With never before seen kill times, these results are truly remarkable as virulent spores are truly some of the toughest germs to kill. A sporicide will typically destroy all other germ species as well.

This new sporicidal disinfectant is completely non-corrosive, non-flammable and 100% biodegradable. It can be used as a semi-critical care instrument sterilant and to disinfect all hard surfaces. Competing sterilants have performance problems and/or serious corrosion and toxic side effects. Because of many adverse side effects, a commonly used sporicide was banned in Great Britain several years ago. Chlorine-based products are extremely corrosive and harmful if inhaled or swallowed. Alcohol-based products, which offer only modest antimicrobial performance, disintegrate plastics and are harmful if inhaled or swallowed.

Now consider that the new spore testing benchmarks required by the EPA to achieve sterilant (sporicidal) registration are far more rigorous today than the testing required of previously approved chemical sporicides. The new EPA spore testing protocols required that it be tested against spore concentrations of nominally 100 times previous testing levels. Even so, this new technology passed all testing in record times.

Glory Satellite Launch on Earths Climate Mission Failed

The nine storey high Taurus XL rocket took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, but sadly botched to lift Glory satellite into the orbit, and finally plunged into the Pacific ocean. As per the space agency reports, the failed mission cost NASA a staggering $424 million. NASA’s Taurus XL rocket, created by Orbital Sciences Corp. of Dulles, failed to launch Glory satellite for the second time, consecutively. Earlier too it had crashed in 2009. On Wednesday 23rd of Feb., Glory satellite’s launch was delayed due to a technical snag in Taurus XL. The Friday failure was caused by a shielding cover of the satellite which did not take apart at the scheduled time. Barron Beneski, an Orbital Sciences spokesman, expressed deep disappointment and regretted for letting NASA down after long years of dedicated efforts. NASA was immensely hopeful of Glory satellite space mission, as it was meant to study how dust particles in wind, called aerosols, and the solar energy affect the Earth’s climate.

Investigations on Taurus XL’s failures

Since 1994, only six out of nine Orbital Sciences’ launching attempts through Taurus XL have turned successful. NASA for the second time faces the situation where shielding cover failed to separate from the satellite. Previously, on Feb.24 of 2009, Taurus XL faced a similar problem where an Earth science spacecraft, known as Orbiting Carbon Observatory, failed to make it to the orbit after a separation failure of the protective cover. NASA and Orbital Science have carried out a joint investigation to root out the recurring problem. “Understandably, people are thinking this is the same problem all over again… It’s too early to tell. We have to evaluate all the data before we can say that’s true.” informed Beneski. Beneski further added that even though the Glory satellite would never be recovered, spacecraft sensors have caught enough input for engineers to recognize the problem.
