Cellular phone technology has come a long way; starting with the conventional cell phone which were basically designed to be communication devices and nothing more. They could only be used to make and receive calls, as well as sending and receiving messages. Although this was an improvement from the older fixed telephone lines and the wireless phones that were in existence, the cellular phones were still a far cry from what we know today. For instance, they were too bulky and too expensive. The reason given then was that since it was a new technology, the costs had to be high.

With time, manufacturers saw the potential that lay in having cellular phones. Therefore, they kept improving these devices and within a few years, the mobile phones started getting smaller and trendier. This was not enough for the technology hungry consumers, who kept demanding more. Less than a decade had passed and the technology had become cheaper; therefore, manufacturers went into overdrive, incorporating more features into the cell phones to make them much more than the basic communication device it was. The addition of multimedia functions and internet connectivity among other features saw the rise of the smartphone.

It comes with the processing power of a computer that enables it to run different applications and, at the same time, has the features of a normal mobile phone, which enables it to be used for communication purposes.

I want to do my informative speech on something that deals with or is related to video games, because that is something that interests me the most. I still can’t decide on what to talk about.
Please help me with this i have speech class in a week to present. I did by the way copy the question from somebody but replaced the word ‘fashion’ with ‘video games’ because this question is exactly what im trying to ask but with games instead of fashion lol
