I have an iphone 3gs which I was perfectly happy with until they announced the iphone 4. Now I hate apple because they keep coming out with newer and greater gadgets. How do I get out of the habit of constantly upgrading stuff.

I want a good piano that I can make beats out of it (Rap) and I also want a good software in which I can record it playing using midi, or usb something like that.
