I want to see when someone I followed posted without having to check tumblr everytime.

It seems to me that if a GPS company could team up with a radar / laser detector company to have an all-in-one device would be sweet! Would cut down on dash space, radar detector and GPS both setting on the dash obscuring the drivers vision. I mean they have FRS radios built into portable GPS units.
