Fosmon Extra Long 6 Foot Apple iPhone / iPod Charge and Sync Cable, Double the Length of the Standard Cord

I have a Wayway GPS navigator and it stopped functioning when I tried to update the software. Now I cannot use my GPS and I am wondering if factory reset will reset everything and I will able to use the GPS back.
