hi i need to know is it possible to remote onto a machine which does not have internet access and is not on a lan does not have dial up or anything.
The situation is i work in an office the pc i work on (host) has internet is on a company network ect normal set up. As part of my job in need to connect to a pc which is onboard a vessel (client) The client in in a workgroup therefore seperate our domain and does not utilise any internet connections. no satellite no dail up nothing. I need to know if there are any programs what the cost that can some how make a connection… is this possible and if so plz tell me how or what program supports this. i have searched everywhere and have not found anything,
excuse the grammer (using mobile) ALSO i am within the IT industry so if you can use technical jargon if need be.
I read somewhere as someone has posted something similar on this and apparently Symantec pc connect was a possible candidate…
my thoughts would be that if one pc has an internet connection maybe they can share this or maybe there is some kind of program which connects by assigning the client with an ip address the program can read to.. i dont know just need to no yes or no… plz no sarcastic comments.

I am looking for a GPS Navigation that will show me the shortest way to get to a place. It needs to have good rural area addresses and I would like to enter as many addresses as I can and have them take me the shortest route possible. I would like the turn by turn and maybe other things like bluetooth and satelite radio. I found one that would take 25 addresses at a time and route me through them It was around $800. Price is not an issue.

I’ve been with my boyfriend for two years, we have a 6 month old son together. I want to get him a gift that lets him know that I really love him and I would like to do it any day. It doesn’t have to be a certain occassion. In November, he bought a new Lexus LS. How do you think he would feel if I borrowed his car one day and had satelite radio(Sirius) installed. If this is not a good idea, please give some suggestions.
