My ipod has this screen with a cord an arrow then the itunes symbol when I try and turn it on. When I connect it to itunes it just stays on the screen. But, when it wasn’t connected you had to hit the lock button. I’ve already tried restarting the computer. And, my itunes is up to date. But, I can’t do anything with my ipod until it connects. Please help!

How do I remove linux from my toshiba satellite?
I currently have ubuntu on my toshiba satellite a215. I would like to replace it with windows xp. When I boot it from the xp disc it asks me to press any key to boot from cd. After I do this it just goes to a black screen. Please help!
