A friend of mine recently purchased a cellphone before going back to the Middle East(US soldier) and they said it does not work over there cause it is not a global phone according to the company.
Can someone give me some info on this as I was just interested in what kind of phone is needed.

Ok, so I’m an fifteen year old teen and I’m starting with my project pretty soon. The project is actually a presentation about a healthy lifestyle. I will implement this project in elementary schools in my city.
