I love technology very much and science as well. But I feel that I wouldn’t love as much without first, the feeling of being lead to it by something I cannot see, something far greater than me. Something most would call God. I love the developments of science but do you think that we are using these toys for mankind’s well being or for the greed of companies, governments and the scandals that come with them. They get rid of old engineers,,,fire them for younger and fresher minds. I know from experience. They use the scientists to lead them to a greater power and won’t think a second to throw him/her away afterwards for their agendas. Then I see how we have all of these new advances but no advances for the love and benefit of man-kind. I had a close friend that was a doctor, and later someone has a baby and it is in the hospital for complications.This doctor pulled the plug on this child because the insurance din’t cover their guidelines. They said they have the tools and knowledge but can’t because they “won’t get paid”…How’s that for the benefit of mankind.
I know this because they did this to my child and the doctor WAS a friend of mine until that happended..Then this guy says to me Lets say you havea 2.4 gigahertz processor. That means that your computer can calculate 2.4 billion operations in ONE second! Thats more than you’ll do in your life. And every single one of those operations is more reliable, more accurate and less demanding of blind adherence than anything spiritual.
So does that make the creator of the technology “us” somehow useless now that we’ve developed computers lol. I don’t think computers have souls…
But I was just wondering how you guys feel about it…
