Will a regular cable pick up signal from a Direct TV satellite?
I just got an old tv, my boyfriend had it laying around in his basement and was going to give it away, so I took it. It only has like a 9 inch screen, haha. But my family has a direct tv satellite and I was wondering if I just used a generic cable if it would work and give me cable channels or if I would have to get another cable box installed to hook up to that tv in order to get cable.
