When Age of Conan was released, I got my hands on the box as soon as the store opened in the morning, I called in sick and skipped that day from work, to get as quickly as possible within the barbarians world. Of course, I was prepared to cut off a few heads and break a few bones, but… I wasn’t quite prepared for the 80 levels that I needed to complete. I wanted to be the first in my guild to hit the level cap and get involved to the end game battles, so I had to resort to an AoC leveling guide, just to get things moving a little bit more smoother.
The Age of Conan leveling guide that I got, has proven to be quite an excellent tool for AoC fast leveling. It provided me with a nicely written questing itinerary designed to help any class manage each leveling session at maximum. So, I’m going to share here, a few tips and spots to level in Age of Conan, to help other players that struggle with their progress.
AoC Leveling Guide – 3 Tips To Boost Your Age Of Conan Leveling Process
– Completing quests is usually a good way to level up a character in any MMO game and Age of Conan doesn’t make an exception. However, always try work on at least 3-4 quests at once, to save time, and maximize your XP rate;
– Never start a leveling or farming session without foods and drinks. These items are enhancements for your character and consuming them, you will increase your effectiveness;
– Keep your equipment upgraded. You want weapons close to your level, especially if you play a melee class. However, try not to go to the Auction House too often because this is usually time consuming and will cut off from your leveling time.
AoC Leveling Guide – Spots For Area-Of-Effect Grinding In Age Of Conan
1. One of the best spots in the game for AoE grinding, for level 55 to 60 is Cannibal Cave. This instanced dungeon is in the middle of Eiglophian Mountains, up the hills. The cannibals are very easy to kill, gathered in small groups of 3-7, and there’s also a boss in the cave that I usually find every 2 resets.
2. Atzel Outpost. This camp of barbarians is placed in the northwestern corner of Atzel Approach. The mobs are mixed, ranged and melee, so you must pull carefully. They are all level 60+ gather in small camps of 5-6. I grinded my PoM here, from 60 to 65 in a very short time.
Now as I said, the AoC leveling guide I’ve been working with has shown me an excellent quest path, but I enhance my leveling with little sessions of grinding. However, this guide is a great leveling tool to have, that’s why I strongly recommend it to everyone that wants to level fast in Age of Conan.
