Are playstation planning on releasing a new type of PSP ( a bit like Gameboy and Gambow advance SP)?

Looking to buy a new type of personal gaming gadget and PSP seems to fit most of what I want but i don’t want to get one if Playstation are going to bring out a new thing a ffew months away.
