Most desktop computer owners normally own a laptop or a netbook, but when I travel I must have my laptop that I upgraded the memory and hard drive, immediately after purchase, I just can’t seem to find the right combination of features and applications with store bought notebook computers, but my upgrades make the difference.

LCD monitors: the best work desk space saver, with LCD monitors sizes ranging from 15 inches up to 60 inches, but I could not imagine a 60 inch monitor on my desk. But the LCD monitors are delivering Full HD 1080p for great viewing of designs, video games and HD DVD movie playback with the clarity of glass; this is one great thing with involved with desktops that I appreciated the most.
The video cards have better graphics some (overclocked) with 512MB, 768MB and 1 GB of memory, video image processing, and response to applications, games than netbooks or laptops. The performance of a video card depends on the graphic chipset (GPU) of the card.
Now the motherboards, CPU and memory deliver better overclocking capabilities with less power consumption to meet the specific needs of a customized gaming system or IT workstations and PCs.
Desktops with high definition drives: CD/DVD and Blue Ray, Hard drives with terabytes of space with two or more partitions and all this defines my area of work or my workstation.
Desktop computers cases have gotten smaller, and work in most areas of computing for home or business.
You can get all this at a price that will be attractive for upgrades and new desktop computer purchases with specific budgets and configurations.
Desktop computer sales have held in 2009 I expect positive growth for PCs and computer components in 2010. Notebook/Laptops and Netbooks sales have increased, and will continue to increase in 2010, because of mobility and low price.
