They irritate the living daylights out of me. I just came in from talking to a neighbor I try to avoid because her hooligan 3 year old son has the tendency to break into my house and take things. Anyway, despite her childs behavior, she found it necessary to give me a lecture about how my 6 year old son should not be allowed on the trampoline because they are dangerous for kids under 8, and how she’d never allow her kids to have a trampoline…and blah blah blah….yes sir, yes sir, 3 bags full.
It makes me think about the cyber personalities I encounter here who beleive all of us who have ever used formula for our babies should be crucified and stoned, along with the more traditional methods of parenting that are always taking a sucker punch up here (ie: spankings, firm talks, loss of priveledges, manual labor, increased chores).
She also beleives I am abusing my son by making him pull weeds for an hour after homework for not cleaning his room and smart mouthing me. Whatever.
Yeah, she knows the squirt comes into my home uninvited. Usually through an open window, unlocked screen door, or even the garage. It’s pretty scary because he uses chairs to reach in the cabinets and my husband has heavy narcotic pain medicine for his back in there, and if that pipsqueak got into it and I was out in the yard, it would be my fault, and I’d be in trouble even though he’s in the wrong.
