Does anyone know how to build a sidebar gadget in Visual Basic?

What i’m looking for are some basic, step by step instructions so that i can create a Visual Basic GUI that is a Sidebar Gadget.
Or at least anything in that respect.
Any help or info on this is greatly appreciated.
