I recently got a laptop which runs on windows 7, but it doesn’t recognize my ipod. I have tried following the advice given on the apple website re updating/ reinstalling the ipod driver, but I don’t think there is one on my computer in the first place. In device manager it just says unknown device, reinstalling this driver fails, and if I try to update it I get a message saying the best driver is already installed. I’d really appreciate any suggestions.
