In the state of Texas, is what I’m about to do illegal?

I go to a chatroom. And there are some true haters in there who are bashing everyone. So what I did was recorded their voices and I want to put a video of it on youtube, and explain what it is that they are doing. I’ve seen many videos of people recording voices off chatrooms and putting it on youtube but I want to know if there are any problems that legally can occur by me doing so. Will I get in trouble….ect……..Stalker laws or anything else I’ve heard of but I don’t know if it applies since it’s a yahoo chatroom. Tell me please.

Some people are telling me I will receive payback for doing this but I really don’t care lol. I just don’t want to get in trouble legally with any cyber laws or what not. I’m in the USA.

I am not releasing their identity only their (yahoo i.d.), it is just a voice recording, not actual video..
It’s a video of their voices for eight minutes, then in clips I explain their yahoo ids and what they are doing.

This is in the STATE OF TEXAS
I don’t have their consent but I’m wondering if it’s ok.
Stop answering my question with a question.
I need solid proof, not opinions.
