Insights On The Best Gadgets Of 2010

The recession has hit the world hard, slowing down spending and causing us all to rethink our budgets. It’s true that times are tough – but it’s nothing we can’t handle. In fact, in twenty years, I doubt that 2010 will even be remembered as a year of recession by most of us. It will be remembered as the year that gave us the mighty 4G phone, and Xbox’s “Project Natal”.

If you are a fan of high-technology, here’s the rundown of the gadgets to watch out for in 2010!

4G Phones

Just so that everyone is aware, this year is the year of 4th generation phone technology, and it is going to be fantastic. 4G will offer download speeds so fast that you will be able to download whole feature-length movies in less than a minute.

I will definitely be investing in one of these, but they will be expensive – so I’ll be looking for some entertainment vouchers from discount websites (you can get discount codes for anything these days, and I am a major fan).

Touch Screen Laptops

I’ve never been a fan of touch-screen gadgets. They were impressive in the nineties, but these days they’re losing their novelty. Nevertheless, the touch-screen laptops being put forward this year are looking particularly slick. Check out the offering from Canova.

I won’t be buying one of these, because I believe that my gadgets should allow me to eat a burrito and then use them immediately without washing my hands. If you want to impress the guys at the office though, this is definitely the way to go (although it is another one for the entertainment discount codes). I would avoid it if you have young children though – who, I have found, are extremely talented at getting jam stuck to touch-screen gadgets.

Green Gadgets

Hydrogen power is going to get huge this year. With scientists all over the world working on new ways to apply hydrogen fuel cells to our day to day lives, you can safely expect to see them turning up in phones, cars, and even the kitchen.

I am a great campaigner for green living, so I’m keen to buy anything that gives off pure water as a waste product.

Project Natal

If you are not aware of project Natal, then you need to look at their YouTube video. It’s the Xbox’s answer to the Wii, and will feature the same high levels of interactivity, with… wait for it…

No controllers.

In my experience, we will have to wait until little while before it is perfected, but I want one, and I want it now.

It’ll be another expensive one, so I’ll be looking for entertainment discount codes on sites like http://www.voucherking.co.uk/categories/entertainment.

So there you go…

To hell with the recession! I want these things, and I think I deserve them. I work hard after all. I’m arming myself with entertainment voucher codes as we speak, and browsing for a new phone.
