In the early 1800s radio waves were unknown and hence the massive revolution bought about by the application of devices using the electromagnetic spectrum was unthinkable. Now the Large Hadron Collider is searching for dark matter. Could Dark Matter be the seed of a further technological revolution opening up possibilities that are unthinkable today.
