My computer hinge is really weak and I’m wondering how to secure it so it does not snap off.?

I have a Toshiba laptop and the hinge is very weak and duct tape does not do the trick. I was wondering what type of adhesive or other solution i should use, so i can both open and close my laptop safely again. Thank you very much!
