I received an OTH discharge from the Navy reserve. I’m not interested in attempting to upgrade it. I was wrong and I know it. I failed a UA. I have since seen the errors of my way and have pursued a degree in Criminal Justice. I am looking for insight on the prospects of finding a job in the field. Not necessarily in law enforcement. I still kept my GI bill and benefits because of an honorable discharge I earned in Coast Guard having served 4 years active duty. I have worked very hard since the incident. It was a one time deal hanging out with former school friends turned losers from my hometown and I got caught. If anyone has any “Real” insight I would greatly appreciate it. If you have putdowns and lectures, spare me because I have already beat myself up over this so your cyber preaching will be redundant. I am hoping hear about real experiences and accurate info (as I am not completely ignorant to the subject) I have worked very hard and am determined to prove myself. Thanks
