So You Want To Upload Files To The Internet?

Uploading to the Internet is pretty fast, easy, and a great way to share things with your friend’s and family. In recent years we started uploading everything from photos to software, videos, music, and even text files. All of this can be done easily and efficiently by using various web sites. This also allows others to share what you are uploading, and you can also receive what other people have.

Some popular file sharing sites are as follows:

Photocbucket.com

RapidShare.com

Megaupload.com

Fotolog.com

Flickr.com

Imageshack.com

Some of those sites are strictly for photos, while others are for music, and some are for everything. Photobucket.com is a superb site for uploading, sharing, and editing photos and videos. You can even do things like create slide shows, and store as many photos as you want! Thousands of photos can be uploaded onto an account, which means deleting them off your computer. That will save a lot of memory for you on your hard drive. In my opinion uploading to other web sites is the best option because it’s less complicated, you can share with others and get things you want, and it’s fast. Any body who can type can do this.

The same thing goes for songs on your computer. The more you can upload onto a website and get off of your computer, the more memory you will have. Storing thousands of songs on your computer is pointless and stupid. It’s just a waste of space and memory. Which can be better served for other things on your computer.

Of course there’s another more complicated way to upload files to the Internet.

This other way is using FTP which means File Transfer Protocol. It consists of downloading a software and such. It also consists of them telling you to basically get your own web site, domain name, and pay for your own web hosting. That is a waste of time, money, and resources. Uploading with FTP is fine for people who are really serious and have the money to spend. For everyone else, just use the Internet. As long as you don’t post any nudity photos, you’re safe.

Those are my suggestions and thoughts. Using FTP is very helpful for people with the time and money. Other then that, it does nothing that an online browser can’t do. Besides, when using online sites you have more features, DUH! Hope this has helped!
