Video game tester career is not about playing game all day long.
If you have visited a game company or know a bit about it, you should already have a little knowledge about the job rather than playing video games. The career is not about the enjoyment and fun from playing video games. The job is a core task. The majority of the task is to perform on a set plan repetitive searching for problem within the unreleased game.
This is a proportion of the task, you will be talking to every non-player character (NPC) on a certain level and logging response, saving and existing the game at different stages, and counting the number of swear words in the title’s cut-scenes. Then you report to your leader in charge and confirm that the finding is correct.
The task depends on the set plan that lay out by the project supervisor. The game tester should have the ability to scrutinize the problems such as bugs, graphic glitches and error within the game and always pay strict attention to the game play with prudent.
Sometime you will not be able to select your favorite game. If you have become a new video game tester, you will be assign to test play the game that is in your favorite category but you have to be flexible about it. Whether you will enjoy or not you can expect to repeat the entire game after you completed the first round. It can make the video game tester career seem like a chore.
