Has anyone been able to set up TIMED recordings from satellite TV program to a VCR?
Main issue here is setting up for timed recordings; in other words, taping programs (including programs on different channels) without the user intervention (aside from setting up the programming of the VCR timer).
It doesn’t sound like this is possible. Most of the Satellite TV-to-VCR questions appear to be related to real-time taping, where the user presses the record button on the VCR to tape the immediate broadcast.
Also, the question pertains only to VCR recording, not the built-in DVR recording which is provided with some services.

I want one that you can use for fundraising. You can enter the goal amount of money, and how much you have, then it shows how much more you need. Something you can put in the sidebar of a blog. Please help!
What software is used to create the Animoto video on the home page?
I’ve been seeing a few videos like the Girl Effect on You Tube and the sales video on the Animoto homepage and wondered if anyone knew the software that was used to create them – are they just flash or is there a more user friendly software that someone can use to create a video like these.
