Federal District Within days of coming into force in Arizona SB 1070, the National Federation of Social Organizations , Rural and Ejido announced a boycott of U.S. origin products .
At a press conference the president of the newly created agency , Sergio de Alba Avila, announced that the Mexican government will require the breaking of diplomatic relations with the United States if the anti-immigrant legislation comes into force.
After defining the confederation as a grouping of center-left leader stressed that its members distributed among the clients of department stores and lists of U.S. products and brands so as not to consume.
Accompanied by members of the national leadership , Córdova Avila also said it plans to carry out a cyber- protest , consisting of users call the network to saturate the website of the government of Arizona with messages against that law.
Also sent protest messages to email the governor of that state , Jan Brewer, as well as congressmen, senators and the American president , Barack Obama.
In this context he said they will ask the Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa , to harden the stance of the Mexican government against the Act and, if necessary, break off relations with the United States if the order is applied to nationals.
‘ So far, Mexico’s position against this law has not been tough enough , so we will require the chancellor Espinosa rule more explicitly against SB 1070 , ” he said.
Later, the leader of the agency did not rule to be added to the protest actions to which other organizations are calling for migrants, such as blocking international bridges, among others.
