Emoticon is truly a nickname for emotional icons. Emoticons are faces, either graphical or typed, with the purpose of portraying a unique emotion or mood. They are generally positioned next a unique sentence to show an emotion, not simply happy and sad but baffled, shocked, confused or furious.
