WALTHAM, MA–(Marketwire – February 23, 2010) – ThinkFlood (http://thinkflood.com/), maker of the RedEye personal remote control for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad (http://redeyeremote.com/), today announced that 40 percent of its orders are from outside of the U.S. Two months after its launch, the RedEye universal remote control system is popular around the world, and available in 47 countries.
When ThinkFlood announced commercial availability of its flagship product, RedEye, the company expected only 20 percent of its sales to be international. The day after RedEye launched, the team at ThinkFlood realized their estimates were well below their actual international sales numbers. With supply chain partners ProLog Logistics and UPS in place, ThinkFlood was able to quickly adjust its plans to meet international demand that was double what they had anticipated.
“The RedEye remote launched two months ago, and we’re seeing impressive demand for it all over the world,” said Jeff Jones, Vice President of Client Relations, ProLog Logistics. “ThinkFlood went from unknown startup to internationally recognized consumer electronics company overnight.”
“Working with ProLog allowed us to scale our international operations quickly and without interruption. No matter where you live, we can deliver your RedEye remote order in just a few days,” said ThinkFlood Vice President of Operations Adam Shapiro. “With plans to expand the RedEye product line in the coming months, we’re confident our partners will continue to provide high levels of service for international orders.”
RedEye is available in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, and USA.
