I get TV in Costa Rica via Sky (Mexico) satellite. When it begins to rain, esp. if it comes from the direction my dish is pointing, we lose the signal. Later, as the rain continues, we get the signal. When you see views of the earth from space, more than half the surface is usually covered with clouds. We get lots of thunderstorms here, but that doesn’t seem to be a factor.
