Hoover, director of the Bureau of Investigation, use the knowledge he obtained from “police technology” to gather information on a wide range of people from celebrities to mobsters. In some instances, he use blackmail as a leverage used on people privacy as an uncostitutional tool. Today, of course we have more advance technology to intrude into people lives not just by government but by corporations and international interest. The technology run amok is so pervasive that even people can purchase software or virus and implant them on an enemy to gather information.
