There is nothing worse than the feeling when you go back to where you parked your car to find it gone. Sinking in your stomach and a sick feeling as you think about how you are going to start locating it, reporting it to the police, and if you will ever get the most expensive thing you have ever bought back.
With this in mind, it is comforting that a new little robot has been invented to locate your car. Great! The LoJack Police tracking computer is currently being used by police forces across twenty eight states in America but with a view to roll out across the rest of North America in the next couple of years, and hopefully bring it across the pond to benefit Britain’s Car Insurance customers.
The tool beeps louder and the signal shows more bars, with an additional arrow pointing you in the right direction, using satellite navigation and clever little aerial tricks.
There are other programmes being trialled, for example the ON Star stolen vehicle slow down, where the car owner has a small remote and can activate the settings, meaning that the car is disabled, and the thief defeated.
Both systems show a great ability to be able to track your car once it has been stolen, which is great for customers as the chances of you recovering your vehicle diminish quickly as the hours pass.
Innovations such as the two detailed are great news for us driver, as Car Insurance Quotes are greatly reduced if you have added security measures in the car.
